The draw will be held on December 20 but, until then, let’s find out a little bit about the teams that could potentially play against the Spanish Champions.

Manchester United:

The Premier League runner-ups need no formal introduction. Being considered one of the biggest European teams, they have three Champions League titles to their names. They have stumbled a couple times but still are considered one of the biggest threats of the Knockout Round. Coached by the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson, they are a team who are very capable of winning the cup again and a team that many will want to try and avoid.

Main Danger Man: Robin van Persie

Paris Saint-Germain:

A team who have recently found their stride through buying some of the biggest names around such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva, they still find some problems through some of their games in the Ligue 1. With all that, they are still considered a big threat mainly because they have the players who can easily make a difference in any game. With Carlo Ancelotti at the helm, they will be able to fight for honors. True, some people may be surprised to see a team such as PSG win the Champions League but they’re a team that will have to be taken very seriously.

Main Danger Man: Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The team that many Madrista’s will know because of their capture of Real Madrid legend, Raul Gonzalez (who is now playing his trade in Qatar), the Germans have had some shocking moments in the past couple seasons during the Champions League. They are a team prepared to cause damage to the big teams and can cause many unexpected surprises.  Coached by Huub Stevens, They will be ready for any opponent in the next round and will be more than prepared to show what they are really made of.

Main Danger Man: Benedikt Howedes

The Italian Champions are more than prepared to show that their experience in the big stage is still there after the problems that they have faced in the past few years. They have showed that they are prepared to play against the big teams after their very convincing 3-0 win against Cup holders, Chelsea, and have proven themselves ready to play on the big stage. Coached by the enthusiastic Antonio Conte, they’re going to want to go far in the Champions League this season.

Bayern Munich:

Arguably the main team that many Real Madrid fans will want to avoid. The two teams have played each other during last years semi-finals, which saw the Germans reach the final on penalties. Real Madrid do not have a very good record against German teams so its a game many will want to do anything to avoid. Coaches by Jupp Hynckes, they have already proven their ambitions last year and will want to do it again.
