Real Madrid have decided to pay the 6.5 Million Euro buy-out clause in order to get Dani Carvajal back to the Spanish capital after a season at Bayer Leverkusen.
At 21-years-old, Carvajal has proven himself enough in Germany to have many fans and Florentino Perez himself, wanting him to come back to his boyhood club. He has made 68 appearances for Real Madrid Castilla and scored 3 goals before moving to Bayer Leverkusen, where he played 32 games and scored once.
At right-back, he will be coming in with much needed backup to Alvaro Arbeloa and will surely get his time on the pitch to prove himself.
This is the first signing that Real Madrid have made so far this summer as we look forward to seeing some changes happen at the ‘White House’ once a new manager is named.
