There will be no club games this week as the players are now off for the international break as they look to prepare for the World Cup in June. The players that have been called up with their respected teams are:

Spain:
Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, and Xabi Alonso have been called up by the Spanish National Team as they play Italy on March 5.

France:
Karim Benzema and Raphael Varane will play their parts with the national team against Holland on March 5.

Portugal:
Pepe, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Fabio Coentrao have all been given the chance to play for Portugal against Cameroon on March 5.

Croatia:
Luka Modric is the only player called up for the Croatian National Team as he looks forward to helping them get a convincing result against Switzerland on March 5.

Brazil:
Marcelo will have the longest flight as he travels to South Africa with the Brazilian National Team. He will be looking forward to a great match with the hosts of the World Cup.

MARCELOZ

Wales:
Gareth Bale will be with the Wales National Team as they prepare to play against Iceland on March 5. Wales have not qualified for the World Cup.

Argentina:
Angel Di Maria will be playing against Romania as he looks forward to showing how much he has improved with Los Merengues as the World Cup approaches. The game will be played on March 5.

Spain U-21:
The youngsters and the future of Real Madrid will be playing their parts against Germany U-21 as they prepare for the qualifying stage of the European U-21 Football Championship. The players called up are Jese, Daniel Carvajal, Isco, and Alvaro Morata from the senior squad while Pacheco and Derik have been called up from Castilla.

Hopefully, all the players will be able to return in full form and avoid any injuries during the friendly matches with their national teams. Wishing all of them a great week before returning to prepare for their La Liga match against Levante.
