Real Madrid have confirmed earlier today that Denis Cheryshev will spend the 2014/2015 season on loan at Villarreal CF.

The Russian midfielder spent last season on loan at Sevilla and it seems as though the club feel that he will need more practice outside before being able to be a part of the Real Madrid squad. He is a player with great potential and it’s very obvious that Real Madrid see that as they are always willing to send him on loan rather than sell him to any of the interested clubs.

The 23-year-old will have a lot to offer once he is able to join Real Madrid again and he is surely really excited for the experience. Cheryshev will want to prove himself at Villarreal now and show that he is a player who will be able to play for a team as big as Real Madrid in the future. Could it happen? Of course. As I said before, the player has massive potential and therefore Los Merengues will want to keep an eye on him throughout the coming season.

Real Madrid’s official statement on the transfer:

“Real Madrid C.F. announces that player Denis Cheryshev will spend the 2014-2015 season on loan at Villarreal C.F.”

We are wishing Denis Cheryshev all the best at his new club as he will surely do his best to fight his way back to the club. He will be able to prove himself against some big teams there and will need to take all the chances that he possibly can in order to make it work.
