Real Madrid have officially signed the Brazilian right-back, Danilo, from FC Porto as he will arrive to Real Madrid in the summer and sign his 6-year contract with the Spanish club.

The official Real Madrid website stated the following:

“Real Madrid and FC Porto have reached an agreement over the transfer of Danilo, he will join the club next season and has a contract until 30 June 2021.”

Already a regular starter in the Brazilian national team, Danilo is a 23-year-old who is able to cover a lot of ground, is really quick on his feet, and hits the ball well. He is extremely dangerous in attack due to his skills and will be a massive asset to the Real Madrid team next season. The Brazilian has been linked with Los Merengues for a while now and it’s kind of a relief to see him finally making the move. It is said that the deal is around 31.5 Million Euros.

There is a very big possibility that this purchase will see the departure of Alvaro Arbeloa from the team though no official word has been said about that yet. Hey, it’s not like anybody would REALLY mind, would they?
