Real Madrid were able to win their first of the three finals left for them in La Liga as they now shift their focus to the match against Celta de Vigo on Wednesday night before the final match next weekend against Malaga.

Here is our starting lineup and bench during the match:

My Personal Player Ratings:

Keylor Navas – 9/10

Another great game from Keylor Navas, who seems to finally be finding his feet again after a shaky season. Will it save him from being replaced in the summer? I doubt it but it’s good to have him back at his best during an extremely important part of our season.

Danilo – 7/10

Had an average match overall and seems to be improving with each passing game. He’s been getting more minutes due to Dani Carvajal’s injury and it will definitely be good for him, especially if we end up needing to use him in the UEFA Champions League Final.

Raphael Varane – 7/10

Still on his way back to full recovery and match fitness, Raphael Varane has been improving since his return from injury. Another good match from the French defender.

Sergio Ramos – 7.5/10

Didn’t let the occasion get to him and was able to keep his cool throughout the 90 minutes. He did his job well and was seen going forward a few times, which saw him being caught out of position in a few instances.

Nacho Fernandez – 8.5/10

With a goal and an assist to his name, it seems like he really was the suitable replacement to Marcelo! A wonderful match from Nacho Fernandez but he should be thankful that a few defensive mishaps didn’t end up costing Real Madrid.

Mateo Kovacic – 8.5/10

Continuously dependable in his position, Mateo Kovacic came out with another energetic display on the night alongside Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. The Croatian should be regarded as an important part of the Los Blancos lineup and hopefully we can still count on him next season.

Toni Kroos – 8/10

Toni Kroos continues to do what he does best and was also able to get his name on the score sheet for the third time this season. The German midfielder had some brilliant plays and caused trouble to the Sevilla defense.

James Rodriguez – 7/10

In what seemed to be his final game at the Santiago Bernabeu, James Rodriguez left the pitch to a standing ovation after pausing on the pitch and applauding the fans for a while. It was a sad moment for everyone involved. As for his play on the night, it wasn’t his best but it wasn’t his worst either as the Colombian was involved in many of the moves going forward but seemed to have trouble connecting with the team.

Marco Asensio – 8.5/10

The young Marco Asension shows us that he has maturity way beyond his years once again with some spectacular runs forward opening the Sevilla defense time and time again. Another great performance from the Spaniard.

Cristiano Ronaldo – 9/10

Scoring what was arguably his best goal this season during the second half, Cristiano Ronaldo was on absolute fire against the team that he loves scoring against the most. The Portuguese is still in great form even though it’s the end of the season (which we haven’t seen in recent years) and it’s all thanks to Zinedine Zidane’s rotation policy.

Alvaro Morata – 6.5/10

Usually a deadly supersub, Alvaro Morata didn’t have one of his best games against Sevilla. He made some good runs and had a couple opportunities but he simply was not himself.

Carlos Casemiro – 8/10

Came on for James Rodriguez on the 60th minute to provide stability in the midfield, Carlos Casemiro did his job to perfection for the last 30 minutes of the match.

Lucas Vazquez – 6/10

Came on for Alvaro Morata which made Cristiano Ronaldo move up front. Lucas Vazquez had his speedy runs but his final touch was worrying and the frustration was extremely clear to see on his face.

Luka Modric – 7/10

Came on for Mateo Kovacic with less than 20 minutes to go and did a pretty good job, which is always expected from the Croatian midfielder.
