Real Madrid have moved one point away of the La Liga title after beating Celta de Vigo 4-1 in their game-in-hand.

My Personal Player Ratings:

Keylor Navas – 8.5/10

Keylor Navas has continued his resurgence as he came out with yet another convincing performance in goal. The Costa Rican kept Los Blancos in the game with some great saves and was very unlucky not to keep a clean sheet.

Danilo – 5.5/10

Not his greatest performance but did okay overall. I think it’s time to admit that he’s just not good enough for the squad even though he is extremely hard-working.

Raphael Varane – 8/10

A decent game at the back for Raphael Varane as he was calm and did his job well overall. A good night for him and continues to show that he can definitely be depended on.

Sergio Ramos – 6/10

Let his frustration get to him a few times during the match and inevitably got a yellow card for a fight with the opposition and wasn’t anywhere near his best throughout the night.

Marcelo – 7.5/10

Didn’t have the greatest first half but came back with a bang in the second 45 minutes as he reminded us of his great runs down the left while also keeping his position secure most of the time.

Carlos Casemiro – 7.5/10

Did the dirty work as he often does and got a yellow card in the process as he often does. Carlos Casemiro did his job well during the time he was on the pitch and shows why Zidane trusts him so much.

Toni Kroos – 8.5/10

A beautiful night for Toni Kroos as we got to witness his magnificent distribution and a few runs that we don’t see as much. Was also able to get himself on the score sheet yet again after doing so against Sevilla last weekend as well.

Luka Modric – 7.5/10

Gave the Celta de Vigo players all types of problems with his runs and passing during the match. His distribution wasn’t the greatest that we’ve seen from him but he was still a constant threat throughout.

Isco – 8/10

Another good match from Isco as he continuously improved throughout the match. The Spaniard is unbelievably important for the squad and he was able to show it yet again.

Cristiano Ronaldo – 9.5/10

Another ridiculously brilliant match from Cristiano Ronaldo as he scored two goals and helped Real Madrid win the match comfortably while ALSO doing his part at the back a few times. What a player. What a night for him.

Karim Benzema – 8/10

Has continued improving after a very bad patch for a while this season and was able to mark the game with a goal after a great assist from Marcelo. A good night for the Frenchman.

Mateo Kovacic – 7.5/10

Came on for Carlos Casemiro on the 72nd minute since the Brazilian was on a yellow (surprise, surprise) and did the job well for the remainder of the match.

Marco Asensio – N/A

Came on to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with five minutes of the game left.

Lucas Vazquez – N/A

Came on to replace Isco with five minutes of the game left.
