Jesus Vallejo, who has spent the last season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, will be returning to Real Madrid as it is expected that he will be a part of the squad in order to replace Pepe, who confirmed that he will not be a Los Merengues player next season.
There has been no official word from the Real Madrid camp and it seems as though Zinedine Zidane wants to assess the young defender one more time as Vallejo will be playing a part in the Under 21 European Championship this summer. It is no secret that the Spanish manager is impressed by Spaniard but will want to make sure that he is ready to play for Los Blancos.
Jesus Vallejo has impressed many people while on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt as he made 22 appearances, which could have been a lot higher had it not been for an injury he received midway through the season.
As Real Madrid continue to move away from their Galactico signings, they have stayed true to their project of signing youth players for the squad as Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez, Jesus Vallejo, Marcos Llorente, and Theo Hernandez are all expected to be a part of the team next year. It will be an exciting summer ahead and it remains to be seen what Real Madrid have in mind.
