Keylor Navas Leaves Real Madrid

After a slightly confusing couple weeks of “will he, won’t he”, Keylor Navas has now officially left Real Madrid in search for first-team football as he signs with Paris Saint-Germain.

This news comes at a very peculiar time for Los Merengues as he was already told that he won’t be a consistent starter in the team yet it seemed as though he was okay with staying and fighting for place. Therefore, Real Madrid let Andriy Lunin go out on loan to Real Valladolid and that was when this Navas bombshell dropped.

Nevertheless, the Costa Rican deserves to leave the club on his own terms after everything he has given us and not a single Real Madrid fan will be happy to see the back of him. Keylor Navas was a symbol at the team and did his job magnificently. He leaves this club as a legend and one of the few people in the world that can say they won three consecutive UEFA Champions League trophies.

During his time with Real Madrid, Keylor Navas has won:

  • Four FIFA Club World Cup Titles
  • Three UEFA Champions League Titles
  • Two UEFA Super Cup Titles
  • One Spanish Super Cup Title
  • One La Liga Title

Gracias & Adios, Keylor Navas. You will be missed.
