Kiko Casilla – 7/10
Still starting due to Keylor Navas’ injury, the Catalan goalkeeper did well whenever he was called upon. Would have conceded a goal if it wasn’t for Raphael Varane’s heroics on the line during the second half though.
Daniel Carvajal – 8.5/10
Came back after being out for two months and he came back strong. I may be wrong, but he even looks hungrier than he did before his illness! Hopefully things continue improving for the right-back, it’s absolutely fantastic to have him back in the team!
Raphael Varane – 9.5/10
Absolutely incredible and easily one of his best matches in a Real Madrid jersey. The French defender was always there when needed and his goal-line clearance will be something people will probably remember for a long time. A great match from him.
Sergio Ramos – 7.5/10
Was only able to play the first 45 minutes after leaving at half-time and being replaced by Nacho because of a broken nose but the captain was great in the first half whether it was defensively or going forward. A good 45 minutes from the Spaniard.
Marcelo – 7.5/10
A very good match from Marcelo but he had a few moments where he made some extremely questionable decisions. Overall though, he was solid and was very effective whenever going forward.
Carlos Casemiro – 10/10
A perfect match from Carlos Casemiro as he was absolutely perfect throughout the 90 minutes. Everything he did was sensational and the Brazilian gave Atletico Madria very hard time.
Toni Kroos – 8/10
A great match from the German as he dictated play beautifully and did his job to perfection.
Luka Modric – 8/10
It wasn’t 100% sure that he would be able to start the match due to a minor injury but Luka Modric was able to make it and showed how important his inclusion was with a very good performance as usual.
Isco – 8.5/10
Another wonderful match from our Magician as he was given his usual freedom to roam around and caused some major problems for Atletico Madrid as they sometimes did not know how to deal with him.
Cristiano Ronaldo – 7/10
It was one of his better games and could be a considered a little unlucky not to get a goal to his name but Cristiano Ronaldo still isn’t the same player we are used to seeing and desperately needs to improve his game once again.
Karim Benzema – 3/10
Yet another horrible performance from Karim Benzema.
Nacho Fernandez – 6.5/10
Came on for the second half in place of Sergio Ramos and was quite solid overall though we did not see too much of him throughout the 45 minutes
Marco Asensio – 6/10
Came on for Karim Benzema on the 75th minute (which is about 75 minutes too late) and was not given enough time to make any major impact on the match.
